Our Group

Formerly known as MCFI, Ingenia is a subsidiary of Harel Mallac, which offers agricultural, industrial, and water management solutions to businesses in Mauritius, the Indian Ocean region and the African continent.

Our business was born from a patriotic endeavour to support the flourishing Mauritian sugar cane industry, following the country’s independence. True to our origins, we have expanded to support the key sectors of our economy (e.g., construction, textile, manufacture) and went beyond our shores to bring turnkey products and solutions to the Indian Ocean region and Africa.

Now rebranded as Ingenia, we take on the audacious challenge of reinventing ourselves and combining technology, ecology, and circularity to co-create a thriving business community that helps create a healthy population and planet. Strong from decades of expertise and knowledge of our key segments, we are now going further by promoting synergy and cross-pollination across our segments to develop new pillars for our emerging economies.
